So after going through all the blog posts I realized that I have not taken any pictures of us shredding. This is mainly due to us hanging out in the park and me not wanting to fall on my camera. But today we took a day away from terrain and just got in some laps, it was pretty icy anyway for hitting jumps but what else is new around here.
I’ve been working on getting riding switch over my right shoulder on lock.
Ninja Suit.
Jacket and goggles match? I think so.
My goal for the next week is to get 50 blog posts up by New Years, but that may prove difficult being away from the internet for the better part of it.

Glen Arbor
Thursday, December 10th, 2009Last weekend, my friend and I went up to his place in Glen Arbor, MI in search of snow because there was little hope for snow down home. Needless to say there was only about an inch on saturday, and as we were leaving they were getting dumped on with about 5 inches on the ground and a lot more on the way. Glen Arbor was a sweet town, right on Lake Michigan, and is known for their cherries. Its too bad we didn’t get to go around to all the shops, but thats more of a summer thing anyway. The most memorable thing though happened on saturday. We set up this down rail with this stuff from the junkyard at the resort, and not 4 runs into it the snow plower came by. He couldn’t see us, but the car was parked outside of where we were. So he stopped and started to walk into the fenced off area where we were, and we all hid. But he saw my friend and he was really mad, he said that what we were using was a $2,000 dollar piece of equipment, but I’m pretty sure it was broken anyway. After that he got back into his truck and drove away really fast, so we threw all the stuff back from where we got it and took off. Probably more exciting being there, but it was my first time being kicked out of an ‘urban’ setup.
Downtown Glen Arbor.
First turns of the season.

Sunday, November 8th, 2009Saturday was an epic day full of ski & snowboard related activities. The weather was amazing, 65ish degrees after being frozen in the 30′s for the past few weeks. Around 12, we got to a rail jam at the BCS shop, which had two lines set up and something like 50 competitors within the three classes. While my friend Lucas and I came to film and spectate, our friend Mike was in the contest and threw down some spins on the flat box. Deals were to be had there too. There were a lot of reps were there with tents, and had stuff so cheap you couldn’t pass it up. I got a pair of sunglasses for 30, whatt? We all got a ton of stickers too, but the best thing for me was getting a copy of ‘This Video Sucks‘ on dvd. The rail jam was super fun, but that wasn’t the end of our day. A local shop put together a premier of Matchstick Productions ‘In Deep’ at the movie theater Saturday night, and the legendary Glen Plake was there, mohawk and all to sign autographs and just hang out. There we also got a card to get a free movie, so I stopped by the shop today and got PBP ‘Yeah Dude’, which I just watched, and it was awesome. I really wanna see their movie this year ‘Every Day is a Saturday’. All in all it was a great day. Were just waiting for it to snow so we can finally get out and shred.
T-Shirts all around, summer weather.
A little edit of the contest that I put together
Between all of us we probably got like 50$ worth of free stickers.
Two solid films.

Parking Lot Rail Jam
Sunday, October 25th, 2009Yesterday over at TWC, a local shop, they had their 3rd Annual Parking Lot Rail Jam. I showed up about half way through, and there were alotta people hitting the rail, with a bunch of spectators lining up. It was a standard down rail, and a flat box, with their custom drop in. Inside they had all the new films playing on the projector, and had a sale on all the new 2010 gear. I picked up ThinkThank’s “Cool Story”, and have watched it twice already. Amazing, quick paced film documenting their season last year. If you get the chance to watch it, definitely do it. Pic’s are from the end of the even as we were leaving. Also, were gunna be going to another rail jam in I think three weeks, so check for another update on that and hopefully some footage.
